About Robbie

Robbie holds a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Southern Queensland, complemented by specialised study in career development, psychological therapies, educational assessment, and expressive approaches to counselling. With three decades of experience working with children, adults, families, educators, and other professionals, Robbie brings together evidence-informed practice, practical strategies, and creative therapeutic methods to help people develop genuine confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

Robbie’s clinical practice takes place primarily within educational settings, where he works closely with children, young people, families, and school communities to understand and respond to a wide range of learning, social, emotional, and developmental needs. His background in assessment and counselling enables him to look beyond immediate challenges and help children recognise their strengths, better understand themselves, and develop strategies that support both learning and wellbeing. Alongside his work in education, Robbie also provides professional supervision in private practice, supporting practitioners to reflect on their work, strengthen their clinical skills, and develop confidence in their professional practice.

Throughout his career, Robbie has seen firsthand the difference that thoughtful assessment, supportive relationships, and the right guidance can make to the way children experience learning and approach challenges. His work is grounded in the belief that confidence develops when people feel understood, recognise their capabilities, and are equipped with practical strategies they can use in everyday life.
