COUNSELLING
In-clinic | Phone | Zoom | Ages 18+
Counselling can help when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or simply no longer fits the way it used to. It offers a quiet space to slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and think about what matters to you. My approach is person-centred, based on the work of Carl Rogers. I believe people are capable of understanding themselves, making choices, and moving towards change when they feel safe, heard, and respected. You know your life better than anyone else. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you explore what is going on beneath the surface.
Our work is grounded in empathy, acceptance, and honesty. You do not need to have everything worked out before you come to counselling. You can bring uncertainty, difficult feelings, or thoughts that are hard to put into words. There is no need to present a polished version of yourself.
Sometimes you might know what needs to change but feel stuck. Sometimes you might not be sure what you want at all. Counselling can give you the time and space to explore that. The pace and direction of our work will be guided by you. My aim is to provide a relationship where you feel understood rather than judged, and supported rather than told what to do. Together, we can make sense of where you are now and consider where you want to go next.
